It’s just that simple. I love coleslaw. My family is slightly annoyed by this love but they continue to eat this wonderful dish every time I make it.
Super easy of course and as far you might even say it’s healthy.
I find it’s a bit more interesting with raisins and of course cashews. Don’t cashews just make everything in life better?
The ingredients are ones you might have at home. I usually pick up the bag of cabbage at our local store on the day I am making the coleslaw.
Of course you can make your own substitutions depending on what you like. I few add ins could include: craisins, almonds, sunflower seeds, broccoli…your coleslaw, your choice! Simply start by adding the bag of coleslaw, the green onions, raisins and cashews to a bowl.
See how easy it is so far?
In a small bowl add the Miracle Whip, (unless Mayo is your thing), salt, sugar and vinegar. I throw in a shake of pepper as well.
Stir it up and add it to the cabbage mixture. Could it be any easier?
I like to make my coleslaw before the meal and keep it in the fridge for a couple of hours to season. I serve it with Marlene’s Sloppy Joes but you can decide what works best for you.
